Antonio Rudiger will undergo knee surgery on Tuesday with the defender expected to miss the remainder of Chelsea's crucial run-in.Having just returned from an original knee injury, Rudiger limped off during Chelsea's 1-1 draw against Manchester United on Sunday.And now the Germany international will head to Italy for an operation on his injured meniscus. The Blues have two league games left as they look to secure a top-four place while they face Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League semi-finals.But the key defender appears certain to miss those crucial fixtures as he undergoes surgery to repair his injured left knee.The 26-year-old has played a pivotal role in the heart of Maurizio Sarri's defence this campaign by making 44 appearances. The Blues face Eintracht Frankfurt in the first leg of their Europa League last-four clash on Thursday night.If Sarri's side fail to stay in the final Champions League spot in the league, the Europa League could provide an alternative route into the competition should they lift the trophy on May 29.
