How Dennis Quaid Emotionally Detached from His ‘Intruder’ Character

“Extra’s” Tanika Ray sat down with Dennis Quaid at Universal Studios Hollywood, where he promoted his film “The Intruder.”

In the movie, Dennis plays a widower who is unable to let go of the Napa Valley home that he has recently sold to a couple. As for how he stepped away from his “delicious” character after a day of filming, Quaid said, “I’ve learned to drop it like a hot potato… I did Jerry Lee Lewis, ['Great Balls of Fire'] was the last movie I took home with me.”
