Stranger Slips Dad an Envelope and He Sprints Outside After Opening It

Rob Edwards has a wonderful life. He lives in a beautiful home in Florida where the weather is almost always warm and sunny. He had a beautiful wife who he loved, and they had recently celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary. He also had two children who he couldn't be more proud of. Rob had it all, and he was thankful for everything that he had.

As if Rob didn't have enough to be thankful for, his oldest child, Cole, was about to graduate from high school. Rob worked to keep his son on the right path for 18 years. Finally, the day came that his son would graduate. His family was gearing up for the graduation ceremony. He was excited to see his son get his diploma, which was something that he worked hard for his entire life.

On the day of Cole's graduation, Rob woke up early to run some errands. He had plenty of things that needed to be done before Cole's graduation ceremony, so he wanted to get an early start. His first stop was going to be at the bank. When he walked in, he saw a long line. He knew that he didn't have the time to stand around waiting, but he wasn't going to let it bother him. Nothing was going to ruin this amazing day.

Even though Rob had a long to-do list, when he saw a woman coming toward the door, he waited a moment to hold it open for her. Just because he was in a hurry, it didn't mean that he was going to stop being the gentleman that he always was. When she walked in the door, she smiled at Rob. He motioned for her to get ahead of him in line and she looked at him in disbelief. At first, she refused, but Rob told her that he insisted she get in front of him. After seeing his warm smile and sincere face, she accepted.

Because the line at the bank was long, Rob and the woman had time to talk. When the woman asked Rob about the huge smile on his face, he told her about his son Cole and his daughter Taylor. She told him a bit about her family, and then Rob told her about Cole's graduation. The woman couldn't help but notice the pride in Rob's eyes when he talked about the day ahead. The woman thought that Rob seemed like an amazing father.

The two continued talking until it was the woman's turn to go up to the teller. They said a quick goodbye and Rob waited for his turn. He had no idea that the woman had something amazing up her sleeve.

When it was Rob's turn in line, he walked over to the teller with the same prideful smile on his face that he had all day. When he was working on his transaction with the teller, he felt someone slip something under his arm. He was a bit shocked at first. He didn't know anyone in the bank, so he quickly turned around to find out who had slipped him the envelope. When he saw the woman that he was speaking to in line, he realized that she was the one who gave him the envelope.

Rob stood there for a moment in shock before deciding to open the envelope. He had no idea what she could have put inside. When he opened it up and saw $50, he didn't know what to think. There was no note, just the money. He needed to know what was going on. This stranger slips dad envelope. He opens it up and sprints out the door.

Rob quickly finished his banking business and ran outside to try to catch the woman. He looked down the street and saw her getting ready to pull out of the parking lot. When he approached her car, she rolled down the window. The first thing that he said was that he couldn't take the money. The woman insisted. She told Rob that when he spoke about his son and the graduation that his face glowed. She told him that he was a blessing to his son and she wanted to bless him also on his big day. The woman's kindness and generosity had him floored.

Before the two parted ways, Rob asked the woman to take a photo with him. He wanted to be able to show his son a photo of the kind and generous woman that gave him the gift. She took the picture with him, and he went on with his day. During the graduation ceremony, Rob almost burst with pride. He thought about the woman, and his faith in humanity was restored.
