A bridegroom has been left fighting for his life after falling 12ft from a banister on the way to his honeymoon suite on his wedding night to his 'soulmate'.Chris Mallon had just married his bride Avril when he suffered a 'significant brain injury' after plunging onto a paved area on in the early hours of Saturday morning last week.It came just hours after Chris, who was in his 50s and Avril, tied the knot surrounded by their friends and family at the Macdonald Houstoun House hotel in Uphall, West Lothian in Scotland.Following the accident, Chris was put into an induced coma, and since then Avril has been keeping a bedside vigil.
