DCOI-EARN Accessible Employer Showcase - Carleton, Algonquin and Ottawa U

The David C. Onley Initiative, in collaboration with EARN, invited businesses of all sizes from the region who understand and value the benefits of a diverse, inclusive and accessible workplace to participate in a series of Accessible Employer Showcases at Carleton University, Algonquin College and University of Ottawa to meet with students and student alumni who identify as having a visible or non-visible disability, and/or those who are interested in learning more about employers who provide accessible working environments. 34 Employers met with the 219 students who attended (from the almost 8,000 students who were invited) assisted by 96 staff and volunteers.
