♥ DIY Microwave Squishies ♥
This is a quick follow-up video to my water bubble DIY. Many viewers suggested using a sponge over the tap which worked really well! This is a great way to make bubbles without messing up the sink. It needs a bit of experimenting with water temperature & speed but I found that it worked well about 70% of the time. The original viral video came from Kwai which is a popular video editing/sharing app from China. The clips were reposted onto Instagram and many people (including myself) were convinced they were fake. However these water bubbles really do work, but only with the UHU Original brand of glue. This is a resin-based adhesive that solidifies upon contact with water or friction. This makes it uniquely suited for expanding and holding water...though whoever came up with this idea for the very first time really deserves a medal :P!
