Soap and beds are not essential for detained migrant children says Trump lawyer Soap, toothbrushes and beds are a few of the items that a lawyer for the Trump administration is arguing detained migrant children don't need. Sarah Fabian, a lawyer for the United States Department of Justice presented her arguments to judges at the  US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit as to why detained migrant children don't always require certain sanitary products and beds.
