Super Light Folding Suitcase Solar Kits Compared: Soft Fabric Renogy vs Hard Framed Zamp! (1 of 3)

Super Light Folding Suitcase Solar Kits Compared: Soft Fabric Renogy vs Hard Framed Zamp! (1 of 3) Today we compare two Folding Suitcase solar panels, but one of them is a brand new type from Renogy and has a soft fabric structure instead of a hard aluminum case. The other is a 200-watt hard suitcase from Zamp Solar. The fabric solar panel kit has several major advantages. 1) It is tiny and extremely light which makes bringing it in and out of the vehicle very easy. 2) Because the panels are not flexible, they should be quite durable compared to the flexible panels which fail quickly. 3) By putting them outside you can park the van in the shade and tilt the panels and track the sun with them. I think they are fantastic and can work great for many people!
