Venezuela: Pro-Maduro demonstrators march in support of state food-aid program

Thousands of supporters of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro marched through the streets of Caracas on Saturday, as people defended country's food-aid program. Demonstrators held banners and Venezuela flags, danced and chanted, voicing support for the program. "We are in defense of our food, we want the unblocking of our food, of medicines, and that everything goes in peace and well. That he [US President Donald Trump] goes with his country, with the United States, but does not get involved with Venezuela," said demonstrator. People were outraged by the US sanctions that hamper Venezuelan efforts to import food.
