Hassan Additional SP Nandini Reacts On The Protest Over Pending Wages

Protest demanding pending wages turned violent in Hassan when irate protesters started pelting stones at garments factory they were working in. Sources suggest that cops first shot tear gas shells at protesters and also lathicharged the protesters. Angry portesters were seen pelting stones at factory and police vehicle. The incident took place in the premises of Himath Sinka garments factory in Hassan.

Employees alleged that the comapny owes them wages and that they were allegedly assaulted by HD department staff. Employees were staging a protest demanding the management to pay the due wages and that they would quit the job.
