Lae Police says drug arrests increase

There has been an increase in the number of arrests made in Lae’s Metropolitan. Most of these are drug arrests, according to Officer in Charge of Prosecutions, Inspector Hove Genderiso.

The second highest number of arrests is homebrew related, and the third, street vending.

Overall, there have been 2, 446 arrests made, between January and June this year.
