One of the first decisions facing new European Parliament President David Sassoli is whether to seat three fugitive Catalan MEPs blocked by Spain. Madrid is refusing to certify them as MEPs, but Sassoli could seat them and then let EU courts rules on who gets to decide whether they're MEPs - Spain or the EP. But does this Italian leftist want to pick a fight with Spain's leftist government?
