There is always hope for depression so don't give up everything might change for you tomorrow

There are millions of people all over the planet who suffer with depression. As someone who has suffered with depression since a very young age, I know first hand what it's like to feel hopeless and to imagine that suicide will solve everything. I also have people in my life who suffer with depression.

It was one of these people who inspired the lyrics for "Tomorrow Will Never Come".

There are going to be times when we won't be able to do anything to help someone who feels like suicide is the answer to their depression. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't try to help the people in our lives who are suffering. Sometimes all a person needs is to be shown a little kindness and understanding from another human being. And if you are the one suffering, I know that when you are at the lowest point, you've usually exhausted all your options for people to reach out to. I've been there. Understand that it only seems like it's your lowest point. It only feels like there's no hope. Please try to hold on.

A suggestion for those who respond to people in despair who reach out to them when they are feeling suicidal by giving them the suicide prevention hotline number, if someone reaches out to you, hard though it might be to be in that position, to know what to do or say, please try to be there for them. Please try to listen. They know how to find the suicide prevention hotline number. If they wanted to call the suicide prevention hotline, they would have done so. They are reaching out to you for a reason.
