TL;DR - The 'Thermian Argument' is Absolute Sophistry

It sounds nice on the surface but the "Thermian Argument" doesn't hold up to scrutiny. It is absolutely fine to judge a piece of media using elements within that media. Attacking a piece of media for "creepy garbage" by attacking its creators is nothing more than "change it because it hurts my feefees" and creating a BS fallacy just to dismiss people who point out internal consistency is a chump argument.
