Ancient Egyptians cut 100 ton obelisks and blocks of granite from the bed-rock that seems to be impossible considered the tools they had at the time. Did they use an advanced ancient technology to craft these elegant and sophisticated artifacts seen across Egypt, Today, this technology is a mystery to us. Stylised statues carved from granite, intricate hieroglyphs cut into granite obelisks and perfectly flat, interlocking blocks of granite are some of the proof for this technology. This video will show evidence indicating precision stonecutting seemingly in use over 4,000 years ago.
UK publisher of NEXUS Magazine Marcus Allen asks how, when in modern times granite is cut and shaped using diamond drills and tungsten-tipped chisels, that in ancient Egypt 100-ton obelisks and blocks of granite were somehow cut and shaped using diorite pounding balls, copper tools and sand: the accepted consensus. These crude methods are unlikely to have produced the visible results. Marcus shows evidence indicating other skills seemingly in use over 4,000 years ago which are virtually impossible to replicate today.
