Moving your plants to larger pots as they continue to grow is important to encourage root system growth and keep watering schedules sane. Proper transplanting throughout the plants' life- stepping them up gradually in pot size rather than putting them in a large pot to begin with- not only makes it easier to prevent overwatering and root rot, but also allows you to maintain frequent watering and feeding to maximize nutrient delivery to the plants. In this clip taken from our Grow Along Series featuring multiple strains, Kevin from Black Dog LED demonstrates how to transplant from plastic pots we like to use during vegetative growth to fabric pots we prefer for flower. After transplanting its imperative to water your plants in to help them get settled in their new homes. Don't forget to watch more great videos at our VIDEO GALLERY:
