Falling pipe test with a UHPC lining

This test was performed about 15 years ago. It was tested here whether it is necessary to install a complete mesh reinforcement even under extreme loads or only partial, simple anchorages. The layer thickness was 25 mm or 1 ".The lining was a UHPC mortar.
In order to increase the lining load, the UHPC lining was only installed halfway up.
Tests with a UHPC in the full tube circumference required extreme loads to bring about destruction.
