The council of governors has joined the growing list of interest groups seeking to amend the constitution. Coming up with a raft of changes they want included in the constitution. Governors are in support of creation of a post of a prime minister with two deputies. And as Elphas Lagat now reports should the proposed changes pass, participating in elections will be made compulsory for every Kenyan over 18 years of age.
