Finally, Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma has admitted that illegal transportation of coal may have been taking place in the state despite a ban on place. Sangma blamed it on the vast terrain, all of which, he felt was difficult to guard.
This big admission by the Meghalaya Chief Minister Comes barely two days after NGT committee head Retired Justice BP Katakey said that rampant transportation of coal was underway in the hill state.
