Due to negligence of the Directorate of Education, many Self Help Groups providing mid day meals to schools have been affected. Members of few SFGs have stated that their bills have not been cleared for the last 4 months.SHGs have approached Director of Education for knowing the whereabouts; however he was not in office. Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat has stated that it is most unfortunate that women have to struggle for their rightful dues of mid day meals.
