Ming Gao, Assistant Professor of Biology, shares his research on germ cells in fruit flies and how this knowledge can inform our understanding of reproduction and genetic engineering. On September 27, IU Northwest hosted is first ever Celebration of Faculty Research. Faculty members from across the campus presented eight-minute mini-lectures on their research and its effect on the local community and across the state. The event was part of Indiana University's statewide 200 Festival, the kick-off celebration of the IU Bicentennial.
