About the Shadow Self | Shadow Journey: Is it what we think?

I don't want to give the wrong impression with this video. Shadow journeys can be really empowering, illuminating, and healing at the right time and under the right circumstances. It truly is one of the most strengthening experiences to see your own self-sabotaging, self-doubting, or self-effacing tendencies with the ability to go deep within and start to shift them. To also be able to see impure motives of others that were dressed up as helpful or right can help us to find vitality more, too. All of this said, though, it is essential to then be able to move forward and out of the shadows; to introduce light and purity back into the experience, because that is what humans are made to flourish under. In essence, the shadow self / shadow journey is a potently healing medicine that is not meant to be taken everyday always, as it is a deeply toxic journey for some. Yet, in that which is deeply toxic may lie the cure to cancer, for example... take with it what you will! Moderation is the key.
