My conclusions are as follows:
1. Based on sound meter testing on four different road surfaces and speeds, both before and after the installation, I measured little or no reduction in sound levels inside the car. This was measured carefully before and after the installation using the same equipment, roads, speeds, tire pressure, and even time of day.
2. The more subtle difference is the sound pressure level inside the car after the weather stripping is installed. Even though the sound levels inside the car are the same, the weather stripping does seem to reduce high-frequency noise, which makes the car feel more quiet and secure.
3. The sound of the doors closing is noticeably improved with the weather stripping. The car sounds much more solid when the door closes. More like a Mercedes.
4. Another fantastic benefit is that the new weatherstripping will prevent dust, moisture, and dirt from getting into the door hinges and wiring channels.
Overall, I grade the product an A-, and I would recommend that every new Tesla be fitted with your product at the time of delivery. If you install this kit on day one, your door hinges and other interior parts of your Tesla will stay much cleaner, much longer.
