Elizabeth Warren on Impeachment Probe: 'Let's Do It'

Elizabeth Warren on Impeachment Probe: 'Let's Do It' Elizabeth Warren has once again scorned big money's influence in politics as she signed up for New Hampshire's presidential primary.
The Massachusetts senator said Wednesday, "We really shouldn't have elections that are about billionaires calling all the shots, whether they're reaching in their pockets to fund their own elections or whether they're counting on getting other people to run."
Warren's comments came as billionaire Michael Bloomberg considers making a late run for the Democratic presidential nomination. Billionaire businessman Tom Steyer is also competing with Warren in the primary.
Warren was asked about former Vice President Joe Biden's comment that she reflected an elitist and "angry unyielding viewpoint."
"I'm not here to criticize other Democrats," Warren commented.
Warren said that if the impeachment inquiry moves on to the Senate, she will be there to participate, even if it interferes with her campaign schedule.
She also said that she thought impeachment proceedings should have begun against President Trump after Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report came out earlier this year, and that it's important to proceed.
"He feels that he can use the tools of government to enrich himself personally and for his own political gain. And that is exactly what happened in the Ukraine inquiry," Warren said.
