Lure Fishing itself Can be exciting, Especially when you can see the bass nailing baitfish in a couple of foot of water. Who cares about the size of them when its a fish a cast. But when something else smashes you up and then you see what it is.. it really gets the blood pumping. This afternoon it was a mullet of some sort that took the patch off the top and out the water. Topping off a day where we had bass, mackerel, pollock, wrasse, Bream, mullet and Gars on the lures. Incredible and it really shows the diversity of species the Channel Islands throws up on the lures. The HTO Hooligan in the Video was perfect for chucking a small Frosty into the small bays we were targeting and for its price (which is cheap) dealt with the smaller bass perfectly. Shame we lost a better fish which ran towards me at speed.. spitting the lure. Thats fishing.
