With comic book culture becoming more and more popular, folks that were not previously invested in it emotionally, are becoming more interested. This is to be expected, and this includes people who think all of art should mimic their social preferences and expectation.
In this video we go through a post in which someone is very upset at the figure of fan drawing of Carol Danvers. They're suggesting that women are being "sexualized." I'm not even here to dispute whether she is or isn't, but rather point out the fact that the main consumer base (men) have never griped and complained about men being depicted with unrealistically cut bodies.
I'm not saying that this is new. I'm saying that these efforts have become amplified as comic book media becomes more popular. And we all know that SJWs take pride in highjacking cultures and making it about them.
