This fight is all about breaking the opponents guard in order to do any damage. The easiest way to do this is by force pushing him when ever he enters his attack animation. After the push you run at him as he's getting back up and hit him once to break his guard and then you have an opening for three attacks followed by blocking his force push and rinse and repeat. The Power of Friendship skill makes this tactic even more powerful since you can get your force bar replenished everytime you use a health canister.
