Year 10 explores ethics and integrity in PE

Year 10 explores ethics and integrity in PE One of the units studied in Year 10 Introduction to PE is Ethics and Integrity. Students explore the factors influening fair play, ethical behaviour and integrity and look at it through authentic environments. Their assessment is centred around analysing strategies used to solve ethical dilemmas in professional sport. In class they compete in a tournament, playing a hybrid game of Basketball and Netball. They are part of a set up imitating real-world experiences such as drafting or trading players, match-fixing and salary caps. Students reflect on how they responded under different situations that test their moral or ethical compass.
