Ed Woodward eyes three transfers with club convinced over Erling Haaland

Ed Woodward eyes three transfers with club convinced over Erling Haaland Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is preparing for a major personnel boost in January, with Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward willing to sanction three major transfers.

United are targeting two midfielders and a striker and Woodward is poised to begin pursuing Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez, Ajax playmaker Donny van de Beek and Red Bull Salzburg wonderkid Erling Braut Haaland.

The Mail is reporting that the three are high up on United’s list of targets but the deals may yet be pushed back until the summer.

The report states that, although the club would like to make the additions in January, they realise that it may be more realistic to wait.
