TLDR is some games what is optimal can actually be hazy, because of the variables.. where as some games say like DBFZ what is optimal generally there is no question. Its obvious.. DBFZ is a game that discourages you from being optimal, but what is optimal is quite obvious. A game like say GG with push back, and the way damage buffer works, we can run into many situations, where the optimal IDEA of what they are going for might come into play. So theres potential hazyness and acceptable I feel like usage of the word.. but calling everything optimal no matter what when there is no question if it is or not is very strange. Im not sure how other people think but when I watch people play or play friends, often I just think to myself like oh man youre going for a big one, or a hard one, or he did a hard combo.. but again calling everything the max damage, the optimal stuff.. Its only promoting this jimmy shit whereever one needs to feel like they are the best no matter what
