JEE Main Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

JEE Main Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme JEE main Exam will be conducted in three papers.

Paper 1 is for B.E / B.Arch aspirants Paper 2 is for B.Arch aspirants Paper 3 for B.Planning Aspirants
Paper – 1 B.E/B.Tech will be conducted in Computer Based Mode.


Paper 1 exam pattern consist of three sections – Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with 25 questions in each subjects for 100 marks each. Out of this 25 questions 20 will be MCQ and 5 will be numerical value question.


The marking scheme for Paper -1 is...For MCQs ... for every correct answer , 4 marks will be awarded, for every incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted and You will not get any marks for unanswered questions. For Numerical questions You will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer . There is no negative marking for incorrect answer in numerical value question and You will not get any marks for unanswered questions. In paper 1 there will be totally 75 questions for 300 marks., you will get 3 hours time duration to complete Paper- 1 Exam.


Paper 2 B.Arch will be conducted partly in computer based mode and partly in pen and paper mode.


Paper -2 is comprised of three sections – Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing.
