If we lie at a moment's notice and repent before it goes into a sinkhole we can move forward into the LIGHT.. In retrospect, if we are constantly LIVING IN a particular lie, (elephant in the room) it affects our Behavior with each other as well as others. Beautiful friendships that could have been manifested I lay on the Wayside due to the behavior patterns of light keeping.
In order to hide the LIE we would have to compromise ourselves and others.
Eventually it will feel normal and then we excuse it saying that were lying not to hurt somebody else, not realizing that someone indeed is getting hurt that may know about the LIE. As we care about the person we're protecting with that lie as we put them in a delusional State because they're believing something that is not True.
we then would be doing the opposite of protecting the very person we are literally trying to protect.
lies are self preservation
Repent be free from lies. Our souls depend on it. true friendships depend on it.
apologizing for behavior caused by the covering up but which by default hurt others is it good start.
