‘My Family Doesn’t Eat Much Onions’: Sitharaman Tells An MP in Lok Sabha | The Quint

Amid the countrywide uproar over the surging prices of onion, an MP in the Lok Sabha asked Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, "Do you eat Egyptian onions?". Replying to him, Sitharaman said that she doesn’t 'consume onion and garlic much' as it is not a part of her family’s diet.
