Inspired by Audre Lorde's "Uses of the Erotic," this video explores the ways in which pleasure is so often performative, appealing to a viewer instead of exploring honest, raw expressions of pleasure. Through the framework of prioritizing genuine pleasure over performance, my video participants and I co-created a piece which explores the way pleasure can be queered.
