Searching For My FIRST EVER MUSKELLUNGE! (EP1)

December 4th, 2019 -- For my 174th outing of this year, I went to my local River in search of the mighty Muskellunge (Esox masquinongy). As a side curiosity, the majority of the species in the Esocidae family are "cool water" fish, meaning that they are less lethargic than warm water fish during the Winter time! 🥶 ...The Muskellunge is a species of fish that will bite all year long. They can be caught even while ice fishing. If you ever catch a trophy Muskellunge for your area, consider treating it well and releasing it to preserve the trophy genetics of the species.
