SIT to probe non-secretarial clerk exam malpractices

Even as job aspirants continued to hold a dharna in Gandhinagar over alleged irregularities in an examination to recruit non-secretariat clerks and secretariat assistants, the government on Thursday announced the formation of a special investigation team (SIT) to probe the allegations. The SIT, comprising IAS and IPS officials, will submit an inquiry report within 10 days, until which the government will not declare the result of the examination.
