The PS5's Graphics Will Be Based On AMD's Upcoming RDNA Architecture #PS5 #PLAYSTATION5

At their Computex Event, AMD announced that they will be replacing their current GCN graphics architecture with RDNA. AMD also confirmed that RDNA graphics tech will be powering the PlayStation 5 (and presumably The Next Xbox). This means that the ninth generation consoles will have much more current tech inside when they are released, compared to how woefully behind the PS4 and Xbox One were when they hit the market in late 2013.
