ఈ నేపథ్యంలో అలెన్ బోర్డర్ మాట్లాడుతూ "మూడు నెలల ముందు వరకు బలహీనంగా కనిపించిన ఆస్ట్రేలియా ఇప్పుడు బలంగా మారింది. వరుసగా 10 వన్డేలు గెలిచింది. అందులో మూడు కోహ్లీ సేనపై గెలిచి సిరీస్‌ను కూడా కైవసం చేసుకుంది. దక్షిణాఫ్రికాపై భారత్‌ సులభంగానే విజయం సాధించినా అది ఆకట్టుకొనే ప్రదర్శన కాదు" అని బోర్డర్‌ అన్నాడు.
