On Gotta Love Carpet Pythons, Archie my Rough Scaled Python is growing and l thought l would show you his new little tub setup, that is adequate for him right now but wont be for long. Many people dont like tubs but for young snakes this is perfectly fine for them and many feel alot more secure and settle much better in a smaller space. Archie will of course end up in a much bigger enclosure but we can spend money on each size they may need or we cut cost alittle by doing this. l have multiply size enclosures at the moment that are all being used and some that are way to big for my little ones so it is a waiting game to upsize some of them.
Staying in a tub while they are young is certainly not going to be an issue for them, so long as they have space to thermal regulate and something to hide in and climb on they will do perfectly fine.
