GOVERNOR MUTUA RENEWS HIS WAR WITH SONKO AS HE LAUNCHES ULTRA-MODERN AMBULANCES Machakos governor Alfred Mutua has come in defense of their council chairman Wycliffe Oparanya over accusations by some politicians that he was responsible for the division of revenue impasse.

Mutua said it was unfortunate that these leaders went further and insulted the Kakamega governor yet his views were also those of his forty-six counterparts and they knew what they were talking about.

The governor who is also maendeleo chap chap party leader added that they had full confidence in Oparanya who had a solid track record in public service having served as planning minister in former president Kibaki's administration.

He was speaking at Mbiumi market in Mwala sub county after comissioning five ambulances with ultra-modern equipment.



Machakos governor Alfred Mutua said today Nairobi county was responsible for effluent that was choking River Athi in ukambani.

Mutua added that Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi should take responsibility and shut down factories polluting the river.

Mutua said Machakos had played it's part in enforcing environmental laws and had shut down factories that were spewing effluence into the river.

The governor who is also maendeleo chap chap leader was speaking at a public rally in Mbiuni market in Mwala sub-county after launching five ambulances with ultra-modern equipment making them mini-hospitals.
