Whether you receive your information via network television, cable TV, the Internet, Social Media, hearsay, print, radio or any combination thereof, you are feeding on lies. Discerning truth in a world order of deceit is increasingly more difficult in this dictatorship of relativism. The destabilization, demoralization and crises we have suffered have induced the normalization of banal deception and we are all victims of this mindcrime. As inheritors of empiricism we tend to focus outward on the system in order to find the perpetrators of the lies so we can blame others for the corrupt system in which we find ourselves; and there in is the prime crime. While it is true that there are external criminals of corruption who conspire to propagate lies; the prime crime is in not external; rather it is the internal crime we perpetrate ourselves by embracing the mindcrime. Each one of us is a node in the communication system; we each receive, transmit and propagate even when we are silent and try to deafen and blind ourselves to the lies. By limiting ourselves to the how of the system and only being consciously aware of the material and efficient causes of the corrupt systems of communication, we miss the why of the system and ignore the formal and final causes of the corruption. We fashion ourselves into our own worst enemies and then attack the anomaly in the system that forces the exposure of the failure of the system, which is its success. It takes a humble and docile mind to accept blame and take responsibility for assisting the enemy in causing corruption. Fake News can only pass as effective real news if the audience is willing to accept the easy lies rather than face the hard truth. More and more people are becoming aware of the deception endemic to our public conversation, in large part thanks to President Trump; but accepting new lies in exchange for the old lies does not end the decay. We need a whole new thinking. Which is to say we need a very ancient thinking and one that transcends time and place and is manifest in every context, always and everywhere. The mindcrime is not the lack of truth, the real mindcrime is the one we perpetrate on ourselves and choose to ignore truth, to embrace the lies and know that we are embracing our own comfortable deception.
As the battle against the Deep State and the Mockingbird Media is about to escalate and become more intense it is more important than ever to discover old ways of combating the banal mindcrime thrust upon us in our own corruption. But, first you have to realize that you have a mind and the modern mindcrime is leading you believe you only have a brain.
Politics is about one thing and one thing only: POWER! Trump has the power. The idiots that killed the Republic and brought us into Empire NEVER expected Trump....he is the Emperor they never wanted.
