Sunday Musing: Isn't It Time To Stop Comparing Every EV To Tesla?

Tesla is a very important car company -- and has helped drag many other car companies into the electric vehicle age.

But when talking about cars on sale today, we still often fall into the trap of comparing them to Tesla and its lineup of vehicles -- even when those vehicles don't cross-shop against Tesla or even sit in the same market.

Isn't it time we stop doing that? Now there are many more plug-ins on sale, isn't it time we start comparing like market vehicles with each other -- and perhaps internal combustion engined models too?
