WATCH: Pelosi unveils legislation to reduce Medicare prescription drug prices

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her democratic colleagues introduced new legislation Sep. 19, 2019, aimed at reducing prescription drug prices. Pelosi declared it “a new day” on lower drug costs. Among other measures, the wide-ranging plan would let Medicare negotiate prices for the most expensive prescriptions and penalize companies if they are unbudging on their prices.
