Making a rustic modern bread basket - DIY || MakeON

This design for a rustic modern BREAD BASKET was inspired by the old wooden fruit boxes. It's a very simple project, here realized in walnut bahia (and plywood for the bottom) with half-lap joints. Finished with food-safe coconut oil and wax.
It makes a versatile object to use in different ways like fruit basket, pocket emptier/catch all, table centerpiece and also a nice gift for the upcoming holidays.
