'Stranger Things' gets a hilarious new take in 'Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror

'Stranger Things' gets a hilarious new take in 'Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror In the 30th “Treehouse of Horror,” and the show’s 666th episode, The Simpsons spoofed the Netflix mega-hit Stranger Things, with a few tweaks of course. Lisa took on the role of Eleven, originally played by Millie Bobby Brown, and found herself with short hair (“I was trying to give myself bangs and it got away from me.”) and trying to save Milhouse from the Upside Down. Or in this case, the Over/Under.

Lisa shared the same powers as Eleven, and as she explained to Milhouse, “Girls are afraid to use them [psychics powers] because then we’re called unfeminine. We needlessly lost a lot of good witches at Salem.”

Homer also found himself killing monsters in the Over/Under, but not as a character from the show like Chief Hopper (David Harbour), he was just Homer doing his job.

“Mr. Burns opened a portal to another dimension that released a lot of monsters,” Homer explained. When asked what Mr. Burns was looking for, Homer said, “It’s all part of a secret government program … to find monsters.”
