Council confirmed Marcus Jones as Montgomery County’s new Police Chief on Tuesday. "I feel great this has been an incredibly long road... I'm just grateful and honored and humbled to be in this position," said
Montgomery County Police Chief, Marcus Jones.
Jones, who has been on the force for more than 30 years says his main initiatives moving forward include increasing diversity among sworn in officers, improving ways the force handles complaints, pedestrian safety and addressing mental health.
