Training4life, Interculturalroots, and the National Lottery Community Fund have come together to offer a free-of-charge Chi Gong taster session. The venue is #theafricacentre. There are numerous ‘give it a go’ pop-up mindful activities happening across different boroughs of London to benefit the physical and mental health of the public. We are happy to be doing our part in the borough of Southwark with Training4Life delivering a world-class Chi Gong taster. Chi Gong is literally “Life Energy Cultivation”, it is a practice of aligning breath, movement, and intention for energy, healing, and relief. Chi Gong involves rhythmic breathing, intentional movement, focus, and imagination to guiding Chi throughout the body.

Intercultural Roots supported sessions led by freelance professional practitioners are starting to reach out to communities thanks to National Lottery Funding. We are very much looking forward to promoting these sessions and bringing this movement of wellbeing, creation, environment awareness and self-care to the IR Festival 'Health & WELLth' that will be gathering the most amazing group of teachers, practitioners, and artists from 1st to 5th of April 2020.
